IF YOU WERE IN A RELATIONSHIP, WHAT THREE CELEBRITIES WOULD BE ON YOUR "FREE LIST"?
Chris Pratt - because funny is sexy, especially when paired with broad shoulders. Alexander Skarsgard - Eric Northman and Tarzan, need I say more? And Sophia Bush - she's just gorgeous and seems so sweet.
WHAT THREE FICTIONAL CHARACTERS ARE YOU MOST LIKE?
Belle (from Beauty and the Beast) - we both love to read and don't judge based on appearances. Beth March (from Little Women) - we're both caregivers, especially with family, and we're both happy at home. And Izzy Stevens (from Grey's Anatomy) - because we're both in the medical field and we've both been guilty of becoming personally/emotionally attached to patients.
WHAT IS SOMETHING YOUR PARENTS DON'T KNOW ABOUT YOU?
My tattoo. My parents come from very traditional families and my father isn't a fan of tattoos or piercings (ears are the one exception and only on women) on anyone, but I wanted one so I got one while I was in college. I just have to make sure my hair covers it when I see them.
IF YOU HAD TO CHOOSE A REALITY SHOW TO BE ON, WHICH ONES WOULD YOU CHOOSE?
I'd say probably either Real World or Big Brother. But for something competitive, I would say Chopped or something similar. Cooking is one of my passions and I think going on a show that would let me showcase that would be fun.
WHAT WOULD YOUR LAST MEAL BE?
Probably my mother's pot roast. With the baby carrots and diced potatoes in gravy. She usually serves it with her homemade dinner rolls, which are amazing, and then she breaks out the apple pie, also homemade.
WHAT ARE YOUR FAVORITE SNACK FOODS?
I love chocolate covered pretzels. There's just something about that salty-sweet combo.
WHAT DOES YOUR TYPICAL SATURDAY NIGHT LOOK LIKE?
More often than not, I'm at work, but I don't really mind that. I love my job and my patients and making sure they're all well taken care of. On the chance that I do have that night off, I like to go out with my friends. Usually we're doing something fun like karaoke or dancing, but sometimes we like to just go out dinner and maybe have a drink or two.
WHAT ARE SOME ISSUES YOU ARE PASSIONATE ABOUT?
So many, but right now the biggest things would have to be equal rights and protecting our animals and the environment. It's so sad that it's 2019 and we still have groups of people struggling to be given rights that everyone should have by simply being human. A person's gender or orientation or race or beliefs or nationality should never determine how many or how few civil rights or liberties they're allowed. And we need to stand up for our planet and all of its living beings and take better care of all of them. If we don't one day it will all be gone - oceans, rivers, forests, animals - and we won't have anyone to blame but ourselves for not giving back what we take from the earth.
WHAT ARE YOUR LONG TERM GOALS?
I'd love to have a life similar to my parents - find a mate, raise a family of my own, that kind of thing.
